Into the infinity of thoughts
Under the shadows of my mind
I try to see from beyond the walls of mortality
Between the Valley of Death and the Mountains of Wisdom
I found the secrets of the cosmos and the black keys of time
Oh, Powers of death ¡Show me the heights of emptiness! ¡Exaltation of my own sensations!
This is what I need to feel…
Oh, Eternal hate ¡Take my body and consciousness! ¡Conflagration of my own dimensions! From the depths until the flames…
Awake my soul
My blood is cold
I hear the screams
The shadows come
White in my eyes,
My mind is a hole ,
I am possessed,
The darkness come,
Embraced by the eternal void
I summon forbidden names into this hole
Under the rise of the shining moon
Nocturnal visions announce my return
I invoke the old secrets
Imperial blood is my force
Lighting storms in the whole murk
No return, it is all dust…
My hate is coming to the heights
I see the brightness of my lust
Gates are open
Chains are broken
I can see the bleeding sun
I can feel the dying light
¡I am the Ancient son of chaos!
My thoughts are becoming in reality; suffering is all I see
Black journey to the thresholds of creation; destruction in our minds
My last proclamation of damnation; without mercy with your faith
Devastation, non salvation, revocation
Oh, Powers of death ¡Show me the heights of emptiness! Exaltation of my own sensations!
This is what I need to feel…
Oh, Eternal hate ¡Take my body and consciousness! ¡Conflagration of my own dimensions! From the depths until the flames…

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

I love this particular niche of modern black metal. Crisp, biting production and clear, cutting riffs. Imperialist are among the best there is right now. Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass)
